In October 2006, over 100 radio stations across North America added the Compulsions' Laughter from Below EP to their playlists. Bloomfield, MI), WDOM (Providence, RI), WDTS (Georgetown, DE), WNTE (Mansfield, PA) and WTCC (Springfield, MA). For a complete list of stations, click here.

On Friday, September 22 at 11PM the Compulsions will perform as "Special Guests" at MEANY Fest 2006. The event will take place at Lit, located at 93 2nd Ave. (btw 5th & 6th Sts.) in New York City. Also: Kickstart (8PM), The Boroughs (9PM), Javlins (10PM) & Fixer (midnight).

In the Summer issue of Sonic Ruin Magazine, editor Carl Isonhart writes "The Compulsions have been fed a steady diet of great rock 'n' roll in the style of the Stones and Faces. (They're often compared to Guns N' Roses, but) the closest they really come to GN'R is probably the solo work from Izzy Stradlin. If that's your style, get your hands on these guys."

On July 26, the Compulsions will be featured in the East Coast Rocker section of The Aquarian. Article by Chris Murino.

In a preview of the Compulsions' July 27 show at the Delancey, Barry Gramlich of The Bergen Record writes "During the first few chords of 'Down on the Tracks'... you might have to look around and make sure you're not at Madison Square Garden, circa 1969, waiting for Jagger to 'Welcome [you] to the breakfast show.'"

On July 16 at 7PM, the Compulsions will debut on Radio Crystal Blue's New Music Sampler, hosted by Dan Herman. RCB is a freeform internet radio show that features indie, underground and nationally touring artists. Two hours later, the Compulsions will be aired for the fifth time on Q104.3FM's Out of the Box. The weekly program is hosted by Jonathan Clarke and features "bands you know, bands you should know and local, undiscovered bands." Also on this weeks OOTB: Gov't Mule, GSX, the Replacements, the Stills and more.
